Bevan Flansburg, B.A. — 2008

Bevan Flansburg, Deputy Director of International Programs, National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC)

“I received a BA in International Studies from the UO program several years ago. After graduating I went to Morocco for an internship with a USAID Parliament Support project, then settled in DC with the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC), where I’ve been for eight years in various capacities. Currently, I’m the Deputy Director of International Programs and oversee programs under USAID and Department of State on energy policy in developing countries to promote sustainable, affordable and safe access to electricity. Our programs promote economic growth and support environmentally conscious development in Africa, Asia, Eurasia, and Latin America. In the past we’ve also worked in the Caribbean and Middle East.

Best, Bevan”
