Admission & Application
All students who want to major in International Studies must first declare and complete the requirements for the Pre-International Studies Major (PINS). Please visit here for more information about the pre-major, or stop by 175 PLC to declare the pre-major.
Once the pre-major requirements have been met, students may officially apply to the INTL major. The deadline for applications is always 4pm on Monday of Week 4 of Fall, Winter and Spring Terms, and are due to the Undergraduate Coordinator in 175 PLC. Applications are not accepted during Summer Term. Applications may be picked up in the INTL office 175 PLC, or downloaded using the links below.
Apply as soon as you are eligible! Students may not apply to the major in the same term they wish to graduate. Being in the major also opens you up to scholarship opportunities exclusively for INTL majors.
Pre-major advising and help with application procedures are available in the INTL undergraduate advising office. New major applicants must meet with an International Studies undergraduate advisor to confirm completion of PINS requirements and to review the INTL major application before submitting it for consideration.
Applications are due to 175 PLC by 4:00 PM on Monday of Week 4 during Fall, Winter, and Spring academic terms.
