Fall International Studies Lunch Talks!

Happy Fall everyone! Our lunch talk series is back, and we hope to see you all there!

All of our lunch talks this term will take place in 348 Prince Lucien Campbell Hall. Snacks and coffee/tea will be available by 11:15am and the lunch talks will begin at 12pm and go until approximately 1pm. We hope that you will come by early, grab a drink, and chat with peers and professors before our presentations!

Dates for the lunch talks are:

  • October 6th (International Studies Student Coalition, ISSC, will be giving a presentation about their club, what they do, what the upcoming year will look like, and how to get involved!)
  • October 20th (Professor Lucien Brown will be giving a timely presentation about North Korea)
  • November 3rd (International Studies MA student Brenda Garcia Millan will be presenting on her thesis work)
  • November 17th (Tod Schneider will be giving his presentation: “Refugee Purgatory–Escaping from Syria, languishing in Greece” – if you’d like to know more about Tod’s work, click here)
