Brianne Holden, M.A. — 2017

Brianne graduates from the M.A. program in early Winter 2017, with a focus on international education. The Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) honored Brianne during her last term as a highly promising graduate student in the field of international education. She received AIEA’s yearly award with an honorarium. In November 2016 Brianne presented a poster at the Region XII National Association of International Educators (NAFSA) conference titled “Third Country Study: the Role of Degree Seeking International Students as Study Abroad Participants.” During her time in the INTL grad program, Brianne worked as a study abroad scholarships graduate assistant. After graduation, Brianne begins work as a Study Abroad Coordinator at UC Davis, working primarily with summer internship abroad programs and quarter-long faculty-led programs. Her duties include program development, working with budgets, and advising students. Her regional areas as a Study Abroad Coordinator include: Australia, Mexico, India, South Africa, Bolivia, Taiwan, UK, and the Philippines.
