Students must complete the requirements of the Certificate in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching in order to fulfill this concentration. You may choose your language specialization from the following target languages:
English, French, Japanese, Russian, or Spanish.

Required:        

One of the following two:

LING 440         Linguistic Principles and Second Language Learning

LING 444         Second Language Acquisition (prerequisite: LING 290)

And both of the following two:

LING 445         Second Language Teaching

LING 446         Second Language Teaching Practice
